Ramadan is approaching fast. While Ramadan poses no danger to healthy people, it can be risky for those with pre-existing health conditions like diabetes, especially if they fast without adequate preparation and care. With increasingly more people diagnosed with diabetes, know your risks and make changes so that you can fast safely. As we prepare ourselves for this year's Ramadan, SKH will be organiing its first Public Health Forum: Diabetes Management in Ramadan featuring an Ustaz, endocrinologist, dietitian, diabetes nurse specialist and physiotherapist. Come join us at the forum and gain knowledge about diabetes management, glucose monitoring, nutrition and meal planning, and exercising (including demonstrations).
