The primary educational goal of our well-rounded and comprehensive Anaesthesiology Residency Program is to provide you the opportunity to develop to the maximum of your ability. Residents are exposed to a diverse range of clinical experience through structured subspecialty rotations that allow flexibility to meet individual goals and objectives. 


Throughout your training, you will learn from and alongside seniors and mentors as you function as an invaluable member of the healthcare team. With timely supervision, nurturing mentors and an emphasis on lifelong learning, you will be equipped with the skills and values expected of a well-balanced, knowledgeable and compassionate consultant.

Diverse, exciting rotations with a wide exposure

The SingHealth Anaesthesiology Residency Program covers a wide range of clinical anaesthesia exposure from Singapore General Hospital (SGH), KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), Changi General Hospital (CGH), National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS), Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) and National Neuroscience Institute (NNI). This close proximity and wide patient case-mix provides unique multidisciplinary opportunities for rigorous and rewarding medical training, patient care and research.
