Profile
Dr Lin graduated from Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2006, and completed his specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2016. During the course of his specialist training, he was awarded the best registrar award in 2014.
In 2017, Dr Lin was awarded the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association Junior Travelling Fellowship and was the Singapore representative.
After obtaining the Singhealth Health Manpower Development Plan Training Fellowship in 2018, Dr Lin completed a year-long Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the prestigious Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada, where he worked with many renowned Orthopaedic Surgeons.
During his Fellowship year, he also served as the Fellow physician for NBA G-League team, Raptors 905.
Upon his return to Singapore in 2019, he continued to pursue his interest in Sports and quality care for the athletes. He is currently the appointed lead team physician for Singapore Slingers, a member of ASEAN basketball League.
Dr Lin is actively involved in the teaching of medical students from Duke-NUS, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He is currently appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor by Duke-NUS. Dr Lin is also involved in the teaching of junior doctors, orthopaedic surgery residents and family medicine trainees, and is a member of the clinical competency committee (Orthopaedics Surgery Residency Program) and a core clinical faculty member for Post Graduate Year One (PGY1) Doctors.
His specialty interests include sports related injuries, arthroscopic surgeries, ligament and multi-ligament reconstructions and lower limb trauma.
