Profile

Dr Kwek Lee Koon is a Consultant with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). She graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore and went on to obtain her Membership of the Royal College of Surgens (Edinburgh) while undergoing Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency. She was then admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) since 2019.

Dr Kwek believes in a holistic approach in patient care – specifically focusing on patient-centred shared decision making in her clinical practice. She is also experienced in management of general gynaecological and obstetrical conditions. She has a special interest in gynaecological surgery and has published in several local and international peer-reviewed journals on the topic. She enjoys delivering babies and is proficient in pre-conception, obstetrics and postnatal management.

Dr Kwek has a deep passion for teaching and was previously awarded the inspiring Resident-Educator award. She holds teaching appointments in all 3 medical schools in Singapore. She is actively involved in teaching activities and is spearheading various education initiatives for post-graduate doctors in the department.
