SKH doctor on trauma care collaboration

Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) is one of the hospitals working closely with Tan Tock Seng (TTSH) under the regional trauma network system to provide comprehensive trauma care for its patients. Dr Lee Chee Meng, Director, Trauma Service, SKH, shared how this collaborative approach enhances patient care through immediate clinical expertise, specialist consultations, and coordinated transfers. Through regular case reviews and continuous enhancements, this ensures optimal patient outcomes for residents in the north-east region.

This collaboration has now expanded with TTSH's launch of a hub-and-spoke trauma care model in the central region, aligning with national efforts to ensure comprehensive trauma care coverage across Singapore.
