SKH Volunteers on Night Watching

SKH’s volunteers Justin Tan and Cheah Kit Peng shared their volunteering experiences as night watchers in the hospital. Articles showcased 19-year-old polytechnic student Justin, who tries to volunteer once a week on Friday or Saturday from 9pm to 6am when time permits, and 49-year-old administrative staff Cheah Kit Peng, who uses her sleepless nights to comfort patients who also struggle to sleep. Both volunteers brought about meaningful impact of providing emotional support and companionship to patients during vulnerable nighttime hours in the hospital.
