Prof Johan Van Goethem

Prof Johan Van Goethem is a Senior Consultant Neuroradiologist at Sengkang General Hospital. He is internationally recognised for his expertise in advanced neuroimaging of the brain and spine.

With more than three decades of clinical, academic, and editorial experience, Prof. Van Goethem has held professorial appointments in Belgium, including at the University of Antwerp, the University Hospital in Antwerp and General Hospital VITAZ in Sint-Niklaas. He has authored numerous scientific publications and book chapters, and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Neuroradiology.

His clinical focus lies in advanced MR imaging of the spine, as well as functional MR applications in neurology and trauma. Dedicated to patient-centred care, he combines cutting-edge imaging with multidisciplinary collaboration to improve outcomes in complex neurological and spinal disorders.
