About Doctor

Dr Jonathan Teh received his graduate degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM), National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2010. He obtained Membership of Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine, Singapore) in 2014, and completed his SingHealth Internal Medicine training in 2015.  Dr Teh subsequently completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialist training obtaining specialist accreditation in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Chapter of Physicians in 2019. 

Dr Teh is currently a Visiting Consultant in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, in the Department of General Medicine at Sengkang General Hospital. His subspeciality is in Advanced Endoscopy.   

Dr Teh was awarded the Healthcare Manpower Development Grant (HMDP) from the Ministry of Health to pursue a 1 year overseas fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at the prestigious National Taiwan University Hospital. During his fellowship he was trained in advanced endoscopic techniques including Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and completed his fellowship there in 2023. He is passionate about clinical education and was the undergraduate education lead for SKH, guiding and facilitating the education program for all undergraduate medical students posted to SKH. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor for Duke NUS Medical School, and a Clinical tutor for NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.  

Dr Teh also understands the importance of providing excellent patient care as exemplified by him being awarded the SKH YOU SPARKLE! Silver award in 2021, SKH YOU SPARKLE! Gold award in 2022, and the Singapore Health Quality Service Gold award in 2022.
