Clin Assoc Prof James Li Weiquan

Dr James Li is a Senior Consultant and the Deputy Chairman, Division of Medicine & Inpatient Care at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH). He graduated from the National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine before going on to obtain his Membership with the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) in the United Kingdom and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in Singapore. Following that, Dr Li trained as a Fellow in the field of advanced endoscopic imaging and resection in the Osaka International Cancer Institute as part of his Health Manpower Development Programme Award from the Ministry of Health. 

Dr Li specialises in advanced endoscopic imaging and resection techniques for the diagnosis, characterisation and endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal cancers and premalignant conditions. He is the Director of Quality Improvement for the SingHealth Medicine Academic Clinical Programme.
