Dr Darius graduated from Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and completed his surgical training through the SingHealth Residency Programme, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (General Surgery).
He is a Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at Sengkang General Hospital, Singapore, with subspecialty interests in Colorectal and Vascular Surgery. He completed an Advanced Gastrointestinal Fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, focusing on complex pelvic exenterations, minimally invasive colorectal resections, and advanced proctology. He subsequently undertook a Vascular Fellowship at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney, where he trained in the open and endovascular management of aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, and complex revascularisation procedures.
His clinical interests include colorectal surgical oncology and vascular and endovascular surgery, with a particular focus on pelvic exenteration, aortic aneurysm repair, and lower limb revascularisation. His practice integrates advanced open and minimally invasive approaches, with an emphasis on individualized, evidence-based care.
Dr Darius is actively engaged in surgical research, education, and training, with multiple contributions to peer-reviewed publications. His academic interests lie at the interface of colorectal and vascular surgery, drawing upon diverse experience gained at two high-volume tertiary centres in Australia.
