Dr Lester Ong is a consultant in the Department of Surgery in Sengkang General Hospital. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore in 2008 and completed his general surgical specialist training in 2018. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He is also part of the trauma committee, as well as the Total Perenteral Nutrition (TPN) team within Sengkang General Hospital.
Dr Lester Ong holds concurrent academic appointments as clinical lecturer in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (National University of Singapore), adjunct instructor in the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and clinical teacher in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (National Technological University).
