Dr Jonathan received his MBBS from the National University of Hospital in the year 2005. Subsequently, he completed his specialty training in Respiratory Medicine in 2016, at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

He has also completed his specialty training in Intensive Care Medicine in 2017 in Singapore General Hospital.

He is currently dually accredited in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine, with his primary interest being the latter.
