The Sengkang General Hospital (SKH) undergraduate rotations are designed to develop well-rounded clinically competent medical students in all aspects of medicine. SKH has a range of clinical specialties, and a comprehensive span of patient case-mixes. The various clinical rotations are structured to provide a balanced and diverse exposure to inpatient, outpatient and occasional long-term care population.
During the program, students will work closely with clinicians whose interests span, not only clinical work but also medical education, research and healthcare administration. We have a team of dedicated clinical faculty who will provide you with the best possible tutelage in various branches of medicine and specialty care. Currently we host medical students from the following local medical schools:

Opportunities are available for overseas medical students to do clinical electives at Sengkang General Hospital. They must be bona-fide students of reputable medical schools that are recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC), and already in their clinical years. Students can be attached at Sengkang General Hospital from 2 to 12 weeks. They will be appointed a clinical supervisor who will supervise and assess them throughout the attachment.

SKH nursing division hosts nursing students from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Institute of Technical Education, Singapore Institute of Technology, and National University of Singapore.
SKH Allied Health Division hosts students studying various AHP professions, such as Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Clinical Psychology, Speech Therapy, Medical Social Services, Audiology, Podiatry from local and overseas schools.
