SKH Patient Shares Her Journey on Chronic Pain

The documentary 'On the Red Dot' follows three persons managing chronic pain conditions as they navigate treatment decisions and their hopes for the future. One of them is Olivia Yeo, who lives with ankylosing spondylitis, an autoimmune disease with no cure, and receives ongoing care at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH). While she self-administers her medication via injection every 14 days to manage her pain, she continues to experience flare-ups, with the pain returning after 10 to 11 days. In partnership with her care team at SKH, she is now trying out a biologic injection to help better manage her condition, with a nurse having guided her through the process.
