The Haematology Service at Sengkang General Hospital provides specialist consultation and treatment for various haematological disorders. Our team of haematologists are committed to providing the best care for patients in diagnosing and treating malignant and non-malignant haematological diseases.
Haematology is an area of medicine that deals blood related disorders. Not all haematological conditions are cancerous (malignant). There are also non-cancerous (benign) haematological conditions such as blood clot related disorders, bleeding disorders, anaemia, and many others.
Our team of haematologists have extensive experience treating patients with all types of blood conditions which includes both benign and malignant conditions.
Multidisciplinary Patient Care
At SKH, each patient’s care is directed by our haematologists who are ably supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialised physicians and nursing staff, as well as a full range of allied health services, including social workers, pharmacists and dietitians.
Among the many distinguishing factors of the SKH Haematology service is our location within SKH Medical Centre, which allows for a seamless transition of care in the event that other services and/or specialists are needed.
