Profile

Augustine Tee is a Senior Consultant and accredited respiratory physician, intensivist and general physician at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He is also a deputy chairman, Medical Board (Medical Disciplines) at CGH since January 2019.

He is the current vice-president of Asthma & Allergy Association S’pore, and has previously served two terms as chair of Chapter of Respiratory Physicians and as an exco member at the Singapore Thoracic Society. He is a member of many Ministry of Health working committees advising on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), haze, respiratory therapy services, home palliative care services, healthcare financing, respiratory drug evaluation and medication safety. Dr Tee is an active investigator in clinical trials and a reviewer for many respiratory journals, being recognised with certificates of reviewing with distinction from the Singapore Medical Journal (2009-10 & 2013-14).

As a dedicated educator, he has received awards in 2014 and 2015 for teaching excellence from NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singhealth Advanced Internal Medicine Senior Residency programme, and CGH. Dr Tee is also a recipient of the Eastern Health Alliance Silver, Gold and Star Caring Awards in 2013, 2014 and 2015 respectively.
