Dr Ganesh Kalyanasundaram is a Consultant, Respiratory Medicine at Sengkang General Hospital. He has more than 6 years of experience working in Respiratory and Critical Care Department at Singapore General Hospital. His early background included working in NHS Hospitals UK for 7 years rotating in several medical subspecialties and prior to that in Thanjavur Medical College Hospital, India, as postgraduate trainee in Internal Medicine for 4 years immediately after his graduation.

During his tenure both in Singapore and overseas, he has always shown great interest in teaching and training medical students, residents, senior residents and nursing students. He has also briefly involved in research activities in Intensive Care during his career as respiratory trainee. He has always been compassionate with his patients and as a token of appreciation has been awarded Service with a Heart Award by our institution few times.
