Profile

Dr Kabir graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2011. He obtained his Master of Medicine (Surgery) from NUS in 2016. After completing his surgical specialist training in Singapore, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017.

Dr Kabir is a Consultant in the Department of General Surgery, Sengkang General Hospital. He has a keen interest in both benign and malignant Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgical conditions, including both open and minimally invasive procedures.

Dr Kabir is actively involved in education, and currently holds the appointments of Clinical Teacher and Adjunct Lecturer, Lee Kong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine, Clinical Lecturer, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Adjunct Instructor, DUKE-NUS, Physician Faculty Member for PGY 1 Programme, SingHealth, Physician Faculty Member for SingHealth General Surgery Residency Programme and Instructor for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Course.

Dr Kabir has over 30 publications to his name at the time of his writing. He also serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.
