Collecting Your Medication

Outpatient Pharmacy

The Outpatient Pharmacy serves patients at the Specialist Outpatient Clinics located in SKH Medical Centre. The pharmacy also fills physical (paper) prescriptions from polyclinics, general practitioners, and other hospitals. We also provide counselling and consultation on minor ailments and the sale of pharmacy-only medications.

Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 7:00pm*
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays
*Sale of Pharmacy-Only Medications: 9:30am-6:00pm

Items to bring along to the Outpatient Pharmacy:

  • Original valid prescription, or balance medication memo from SKH within 12 months from the date of issue
  • Singapore NRIC, Birth Certificate / Health Booklet (if you are under 15) or Passport and Employment Pass / Work Permit / Dependent pass
  • Medical Benefit Card (e.g. Civil Service Card, Blood Donor Card, etc.)
  • Financial assistance memo (e.g. public assistance cards, MediFund memo) or signed MediSave form

On your arrival

Please obtain a queue number from the self-registration kiosk near the pharmacy entrance. Wait for your queue number to be called. If you are collecting your medications after your doctor consultation, please note that a separate queue number should be obtained from the kiosk. Numbers may not be called in sequence.

If you are buying retail items off-the-shelf, you can purchase them directly without obtaining a queue number.

Registration

If you are collecting yout medications on a different day from your doctor consultation, our pharmacists at the registration counters will review your prescription to ensure your medications are safe and appropriate before dispensing them to you.

If you are collecting your medications on the same day as your doctor consultation, and have skipped our medication management counters at the clini, please note the waiting time may be longer.

When your queue number is called, please proceed to the registration counter and inform our pharmacist on the following:

  • Medications you would like to collect and their respective quantities/duration
  • Preferred mode of collection, and
  • Preferred mode of payment

If you require any pharmacy-only medications, kindly also inform the registration pharmacist serving you.

Medication Collection

After registration, please take a seat at the waiting area. We will call your queue number once your medications are ready.

What to do if you miss your queue number

  • If your prescription has been reviewed by our pharmacist, please proceed to counter 28
  • If your prescription has not been reviewed by our pharmacist, please proceed to any available registration counter.
