SHINE Programme

​SHINE (Senior's Health: Inspire, Navigate, Empower) is a holistic, multi-disciplinary coaching (1-to-1) programme for seniors with mild to moderate depression or anxiety.

We aim to EMPOWER seniors with knowledge and skills to embrace the changes in their silver years.

How can it benefit the seniors?

• Able to learn about their mental condition
• Identify their personal triggers
• Learn techniques to better cope with mood (e.g. mindfulness skills, problem solving, interpersonal communications skills, etc.)
• Learn how to navigate healthcare resources around you

Who is suitable for this programme?

• 65 years old and above
• Are on follow-up with Sengkang General Hospital psychiatrist for depression or anxiety
• Have chronic medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholestrol or heart disease
