Community Care

Synonym(s):

It takes a village to achieve better health together and that village begins with us!

At Sengkang General Hospital, we believe that every player in the village is equally important in building a healthier community in the northeast. SKH has been at the forefront of community care, providing a suite of programmes to support residents in the north-east community and strengthen care for them. Over the past years, we have strived with our alliance and community partners to achieve our mission of Better Health Together. Great strides have been made in fostering greater awareness of healthy living among residents, as well as promoting greater collaboration with general practitioners (GPs) to build healthier communities in Punggol and Sengkang. This is integral to our hospital’s efforts and long-term commitment of encouraging residents to take an active role in their own healthcare.

Our programmes and efforts reflect our vision and mission by providing the community with tools to develop a healthier lifestyle, with a strong focus on preventive care. They have steadily increased traction among residents.
