Dr Stanley Angkodjojo is currently a Consultant, Rheumatology in the Department of General Medicine at Sengkang General Hospital (SKH).
He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2009. He obtained his Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP) in the United Kingdom in 2013. He then received his specialist training in the Department of Rheumatology & Immunology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH) from 2014 to 2018.
He was one of the teaching leads for undergraduate education in SKH, and currently holds clinical faculty appointments for the SingHealth Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) programme and Rheumatology senior residency programme in SGH. He is actively involved in Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives in both SKH and SGH, is a designated QI champion for SKH, and sit on the QI committee of the Medicine Academic Clinical Programme (ACP) Clinical Service Improvement & Innovation (CSII) Office; serving as a clinical advisor for various QI projects. He is also a member of the Clinical Privileging and Competency Committee (CPCC) for Nursing in SKH. His external appointments including serving as a Council Member of the Lupus Association of Singapore (LAS), and a member of National Arthritis Foundation (NAF).
He believes passionately in improving care for patients, particularly those with autoimmune and rheumatological disorders, by synergizing Clinical Service, Education, Quality Improvement, Community Engagement and Research. He aspires to provide evidence-based clinical care through a comprehensive range of integrated clinical services for patients with rheumatic diseases, and puts in constant efforts to raise awareness of these conditions in the North-East Region of Singapore through various community outreach talks and events, as well as engagement with the primary care network. He also endeavours to utilize his clinical knowledge and experiences in the planning of educational programmes to offer a stimulating learning experience tailored for students (both undergraduate and postgraduate levels), other allied healthcare colleagues, and the community.
