Dr Yan graduated from Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
He went on to complete Residency training in Internal Medicine and subsequently, Senior Residency in Gastroenterology in SingHealth, and became a Singapore Accreditation Board certified specialist in Gastroenterology.
His special interest is in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
