The field of Plastic Surgery ranges from cancer reconstructive surgery to wound healing to the treatment of scars and wrinkles.

At SKH, our Plastic & Reconstructive surgeons place an emphasis on a multidisciplinary approach to patient care and minimally invasive techniques are used whenever possible. Our plastic surgeons work closely with all of the other specialties in SKH i.e. the Breast Service, Dermatology Service, SWITCH, Orthopaedics and others. Our patients come to us needing breast reconstruction after breast cancer removal to body contouring procedures after weight loss to managing scars, wounds and more. We really cover “top to toe”. Some patients request facial rejuvenation and we offer a wide range of laser treatments and minimally invasive procedures e.g. botox and fillers.

With the rise of skin cancers and increasing knowledge of various skin conditions, the plastic surgeons together with the dermatologists at SKH, have established the "Skin and Plastic Surgery clinic", the first of its kind in any restructured hospital, allowing our patients the ease and convenience to consult both specialists, be it to address chronic eczema to skin cancers requiring excision and reconstruction.

In addition to the clinical work in SKH, our plastic surgeons have a strong tradition of teaching and training of medical students, junior doctors and future plastic surgeons.
