Profile
Dr Gabriel Yee is a Consultant with the Department of Care & Health Integration at Changi General Hospital (CGH). Dr Yee completed his medical education at the National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He undertook Basic Specialty training in SingHealth Family Medicine Residency, and subsequently Advanced Specialty Training under the College of Family Physicians Singapore.
Passionate about clinical education, Dr Yee believes it as a key driver of excellent clinical service and value-driven care. In his role as Fellowship Tutor in the College of Family Physicians’ fellowship programme, he draws expertise from his experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and Palliative Medicine to guide and mentor the next generation of Family Medicine Consultants.
As the Secretary of the Chapter of Family Medicine Physicians in the Academy of Medicine Singapore, he plays a key role in developing national guidelines across diverse disciplines, collaborating with specialists from fellow professional chapters and colleges, and advancing Family Medicine as a specialty. His contributions were recognised with the SingHealth Golden Apple Outstanding Young Educator in 2022 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2023.
