Before visiting our emergency department, we kindly ask that you consider the urgency of your condition. For non-emergency conditions, please seek medical attention at your nearest GP or consider other care locations.

Should you go to the Emergency Department?

If you or someone you care for is experiencing a medical emergency, SKH Emergency Department (ED) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. We provide urgent care for life-threatening conditions and serious injuries.

Call 995 for an ambulance if someone has:

Chest pain with cold sweats or breathlessness
Heavy, uncontrollable bleeding
Sudden collapse or unconsciousness
Stroke symptoms (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty)
