What are the ED charges?

EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT ATTENDANCE FEES

​​Emergency Department Attendance Fee comprises of :
 
  • Doctor's consultation, nursing care & treatment
  • Basic investigation (e.g. urine test, blood sugar test, ECG)
  • Basic treatment (e.g. plaster cast, simple suturing & wound dressing)
  • Standard medication (maximum one week's supply upon discharge)
 
Attendance fee excludes specialised investigation/diagnostic services (e.g.laboratory tests, MRI, CT scans), non-standard medications, standard medications exceeding one week's supply upon discharge.

Note

  1. Fees quoted are effective from 1 August 2023 and are subjected to change without notice.

  2. COVID-19 tests (ART and PCR) are not part of Emergency Department Attendance Fee and will be charged separately. 
  3. Medisave is not claimable for ED bill. For more information on using Medisave for outpatient treatments, visit here.


The Institution shall be entitled at its discretion to offset any credit balance under the relevant bill against any liability of the patient in respect of any other bill(s) before making a refund.


TRIAGE FEES

At triage, our nurses would have assessed the severity of your condition and taken your vitals. If you decide not to see the doctor after triage, a triage fee of $50 would be charged.


RTLS LOST TAG FEES

The RTLS wrist tag helps us to better manage your care and is deactivated when it leaves the hospital campus. If you do not return your wrist tag, there will be a charge of $120.
